night one.

so i’ve made it.

the flight was long but okay—i didn’t die. i almost missed my connection but i made it in the nick of time. my dad scheduled my flights so that when my connection was boarding, my first flight was landing. got to see a beautiful snowy Mt. Rainier from the plane—it was breathtaking.

dad met me at the airport (which is seriously the largest airport i’ve ever been) and we got lost for an hour trying to find our car. he couldn’t remember where he parked it. the airport was interesting because no one around me spoke english. definitely a bit of a culture shock for me.

got lost again trying to get back to our place. but man, i’m soo excited to be here. we drove past all these attractions that i kept yelling out that i wanted to go to. i am really five!

and jesus christ is it hot here. it is about 75 degrees right now and it is almost 2am. jeez. the daytime weather is going to be a scorcher.


our house is amazing. heated pool. my own suite. i’m seriously going to have the best time ever on this trip. i already feel so happy to be around my family. it is nice to be wanted.
