“ i think the term “i love you” is OK to use. i think it’s up to us to let that phrase get out of hand (which it may have). so i like to think that the phrase “i love you” should really only be said after the person probably already knows it. hearing “i love you” shouldn’t be the way someone finds out if someone else loves them or not. they should already know they are loved by the time the first “i love you” is spoken, in my opinion. for example “does he love you?” “i dunno, he hasn’t said it yet” WTF?! no, either you know or not. don’t wait for simple words to be spoken to realize if someone loves you or not. ” - my friend zacky.
