It is pouring outside

First day of my last quarter.

So much reading to do this quarter. I have to read 150 of one book by 10am Thursday and 50 of another due at the same time. I have to finish a book by next Tuesday and on top of that, read about 10 other things. This is just for one class.
15 books are required for purchase.

I haven't been to my other class because I'm trying to get into a fiction writing class but I won't know until Tuesday if I can get in or not. If I stay in my other lit class, I have to purchase 10 books. I will be reading every day until I graduate.

This quarter is going to be busy. For about 10 minutes I contemplated getting a second job but both Elliott and Dana told me not to. "You don't need to give yourself an aneurysm."

Talked with Dana for the first time in a month today. It felt good to be able to openly disclose everything that I've been trying to not burden my friends and boyfriend with. We talked mostly about my post-graduation plans, which of course sent me into a tizzy and resulted in me badgering Elliott about his own graduation stuff. Apparently I do that a lot when I'm stressed, I start getting stressed over Elliott's stuff. I think subconsciously my mind just needs a break from worrying about myself for 2 seconds. Well we figured it out and talked more about my plan post-graduation and I feel pretty good about it. Portland or bust (Jill, we can hang out)! I'll be headed down there at the end of August for sure cause that is when my lease is up, maybe sooner if I find a worthwhile job.

But I haven't given up my desire to work/live abroad (waiting a year or two won't kill me if I don't do it right away). I'm looking into other programs that aren't as long as the Peace Corps--however, most of them don't have the benefits of the Peace Corps. I did read on their website that they do have jobs in the States so that is always an option.

(groan)Being grown up and having to make these life decisions are scary!

ps. I think I'm buying this tomorrow Turns out that this camera is actually almost 800 dollars. Office Depot priced it wrong. Bummer. I was really looking forward to getting it. Oh well, I'll find a cheaper one.
