What's in a name?

So my passport is being rejected due to the fact that I have a different last name on my birth certificate than I do on everything else is in my life. When I was a wee one, I was Angela Dockham-Snedker but since I can remember, I've always been "Angela Snedker." There was no legal name change or anything, just all of a sudden that is who I was.

So now I have to jump through rings of fire to get everything corrected, last name on my passport, license and plane ticket before I am able to leave for England.

I'm trying to stay positive.

And after this is all said and done, I'm legally changing my name to "Angela Snickerdoodle."
